Steven Colon’s Story

On October 23, 1983, two suicide bombers detonated truck bombs at the U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 241 U.S. service members, 58 French paratroopers, and six civilians. This attack remains the deadliest single-day loss for the U.S. Marine Corps since World War II. Hear his story.
