| Last month, Black Veterans for Social Justice had the honor of joining Moderna at their headquarters for a powerful panel discussion — Beyond the Uniform — exploring how veterans carry their leadership, resilience, and purpose far beyond military service.
Moderna is a global biotechnology company driven by its mission to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines. Their deep commitment to community engagement and veteran support made them the perfect partner for this conversation.
Organized via Moderna’s ERGs, mVETS Co-Chair, Kaitlyn Daignault and mPOWER member, Bryan Burns, the panel was led by BVSJ’s CEO Wendy McClinton alongside Moderna’s veterans, VP. Corporate Security, Dean Geribo and Sr. Director US Customer Engagement, Stacy Thompson. The discussion highlighted how veterans in senior roles across industries continue to lead, advocate, and drive meaningful change in their organizations and communities.
We’re grateful for Moderna’s partnership and shared commitment to honoring the full story of those who served. Together, we’re working to ensure veterans are recognized not just for their service, but for the lasting impact they continue to make every day. Stay tuned to a BIG announcement with BVSJ x Moderna! |
