I am a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience in Go and Python. I own order, fulfillment and payment reconciliation services for thousands of Shopify stores, and I built a payment platform used across seven countries. I also maintain open-source systems software.

Senior Software Engineer, Crowdmade Inc. Mar 2023 – present
- Own the order fulfillment, fulfillment order, distributor sync and customer support microservices in Go and Django on AWS. Report directly to the CTO.
- Built order and fulfillment sync for thousands of Shopify stores on the GraphQL Admin API, to end manual retries by customer support and missing orders.
- Designed the sync to stay within Shopify's API rate limits across thousands of stores.
- Built payment reconciliation with Shopify.

Software Engineer, Bitnob Feb 2022 – Mar 2023
- Built the value-added services platform for airtime and data end to end in Django and Go, with payments across 7 countries. Led the engineers who worked on it.
- Designed provider failover and idempotent payment requests.
- Packaged shared payment logic into a reusable payment kit.
- Cut support tickets by 60% by diagnosing and fixing critical production bugs.
Software Developer, Missinglettr Nov 2020 – Feb 2022
- Built LLM content generation that drafted social posts from each user's interests and past posts, with versioned prompts.
- Cut LLM provider calls by half through prompt caching.
- Integrated the LinkedIn API for automatic posting, and added time-slot scheduling for queued posts.
- Designed and built REST APIs for financial and reporting services in Django and Flask.

- Built REST APIs with Django REST Framework on PostgreSQL and MySQL, with Redis caching and RabbitMQ messaging.

- Built a financial reporting system with Django REST Framework for several thousand monthly active users.
- Automated deployments with Docker and Supervisord, which reduced deploy time from hours to minutes.
§Selected Projects

decypharr —
High-throughput file-streaming server in Go. A FUSE-based architecture streams large files
over persistent HTTP connections. I reduced lock contention with sharded range tracking,
fixed goroutine leaks found with pprof, and added sparse-file caching with LRU eviction.
Maintained for an active self-hosting user base.

writ —
Records and limits the tool calls of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor,
OpenCode) through their native hooks, and stops calls outside the granted set before they
run. Writ files add scoped grants, spend budgets and machine-checked completion.

protodex —
Self-hosted protobuf schema registry. Push/pull with protoc-based validation and
multi-language code generation for gRPC, Twirp and gRPC-Gateway.
Other work: lamba (self-hosted AWS Lambda), hearsay (shared observations between operators), dbnest (self-hosted database manager), django-request-viewer. All on GitHub.
